Faye O'leary Hafford Library

The Faye O'Leary Hafford Library was orignally founded in 1998 under the name "The Allagash Public Libary". It was later renamed in honor of the founder of the library, a life long educator and advocate for reading.It is a non-profit public library serving the communities of the upper St. John Valley.


Our mission is to provide a social gathering place for the community that is educationally based by providing educational resources for professional and leisure through as many mediums  as possible, ie: books (large print and audio), magazines, periodicals, Video, DVD, VHS, Computer, and Internet.

The library is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 12:30
